Abstract

The article is devoted to a detailed study of three fundamental algebraic laws – commutativity, associativity, and distributivity – in the context of training a mathematics teacher. It is emphasized that the depth of understanding of these laws determines the teacher's ability to foster genuine algebraic thinking in students. Through an analysis of the mathematical nature of each law, its scope of application, and limitations, the article reveals how the study of these laws transforms the subject knowledge of a teacher education student into an effective methodological tool.
