Research on the effect of high-frequency vibrations on the functional state of athletes using the "AMADEUS" device

Abstract

Vibration‑based interventions are used as adjunct tools for warm‑up and recovery, with effects dependent on frequency, dosage and baseline state. In this pilot study on the "AMADEUS" device (~100 Hz), self‑reported outcomes were analysed. Most pronounced positive responses concerned musculoskeletal readiness (reduced stiffness, improved readiness for intensive exercise) and sleep quality. Cardiorespiratory effects were moderate and changes in body weight/edema were minimal. Mild adverse sensations occurred in a quarter of participants but did not lead to discontinuation.
