Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the features of academic competence and research potential in the process of practical training of students of basic higher education. The relevance of this research is justified by the fact that modern realities require students not only to study and master theoretical knowledge, but also the ability to correctly apply this knowledge in their professional and educational activities, including in the process of practical training within the framework of research practice. The study of students' academic competence makes it possible to assess a student's readiness for effective educational and research activities, and determining the research potential of students is their desire to learn new things and the ability to carry out independent research, which also becomes important within the framework of the sovereign system of Russian higher psychological and pedagogical education, namely, the training of a comprehensively developed and competent specialist.
